Here at Corporate Sportsworld every event is an all hands on board affair for us. Once an event such as the Olympics, World Cup or Super Bowl are announced we are there to do the first of many sight inspections to familiarize ourselves with the city and put together a technical report from the moment we deplane. From there, every part of our report is about one thing: YOU – our client. We take the time to scout out the top hotels, restaurants, stadiums/venues of the events to guarantee a true experience. We look at the shopping, local attractions, points of interest, hospitals and driving routes, as well as motor coaches if needed.

It is our job to make you happy.   As a corporate client we will work with you to design the perfect package for you and your group.   Over the years it takes experience, good people, communications and the ability to identify what works and what doesn’t.

In Calgary for the 1988 Winter Olympics we took VIPs down town to our hospitality area to watch the Medal presentations close to the Coca Cola pin trading tent.   Many sponsors and companies can get tickets but there are the finer points of corporate hospitality that make or break an event for a client.   As you read this we are already set up in Tokyo and working on our 2020 program as well as booking rooms for 2024 in Los Angeles or Paris. To do a global event it takes years of preparation for the Host City to organize; for Corporate Sportsworld we take a little less time but no less planning.

For the European Football Championships of 2008 the final weekend was in Vienna, Austria and we were there from beginning to end.  We prepared a program for 100 VIP corporate guests who flew in for the Final Weekend.  We had a directive to include the usual contents: food and wine, entertainment, transportation and tickets to the Finals.   But the client also wanted to make this a special occasion – one his friends and clients would remember forever.   The finer details were planned out to perfection and nothing was left to chance.  A highlight was the trip to Grafenegg Castle where the group was welcomed by the Countess herself with aperitifs and champagne on the lawn surrounded by fireflies and live classical music.  It was like a scene from a movie.  A private tour of the castle and grounds led to five course dinner served in the grand library prepared by a world famous chef.  Every element was fine tuned.   This alone was a night the guests would always remember.  Attending the Final the next day was the icing on the cake and rounded up a weekend that was beyond compare.

Other companies do 20, 30 or more events a year.   We key on 3 or 4 and do them the right way.   Our goal is for happy clients who fly home with memories of a life time.   From Vienna for a football game or Beijing for the Olympics stretching back to Calgary and LA in ‘84 – it is always about detail. From a weekend in London to attend a meeting or see a show we will book your hotels, theatre tickets, make dinner reservations for you complete with a glass of champagne waiting for you at your table.
